Scott Beckman

Scott BeckmanScott likes to imagine far more interesting worlds than our own. Worlds with gods who give their followers super powers or dragons build mountain cities; where adventure is always just over the hill and through the dale; and where young heroes explore and discover their fantastic environments for themselves. These are worlds that only exist in imagination, but maybe they could be real, if only we could find them. Scott lives in Denver, Colorado with his cat, Evie. He enjoys a daily cup of coffee, a weekly exercise regimen, a regular bottle of gin or whiskey, and the occasional trip to far-off places. His biggest influences are Tolkien, Palahniuk, Vonnegut, LeGuin, and McCarthy. He believes there’s nothing more awkward in the world than having people look at you while they sing to you, though writing about yourself in the third-person comes close.

Travis Heermann

Travis HeermannFreelance writer, novelist, award-winning screenwriter, editor, poker player, poet, biker, roustabout, Travis Heermann is a graduate of the Odyssey Writing Workshop and the author of The Ronin Trilogy, The Wild Boys, Rogues of the Black Fury, and co-author of Death Wind, plus short fiction pieces in anthologies and magazines such as Apex Magazine, Alembical, the Fiction River anthology series, Historical Lovecraft, and Cemetery Dance’s Shivers VII. As a freelance writer, he has produced a metric ton of role-playing game work both in print and online, including the Firefly Roleplaying Game, Battletech, Legend of Five Rings, d20 System, and the MMORPG, EVE Online. He enjoys cycling, martial arts, torturing young minds with otherworldly ideas, and monsters of every flavor, especially those with a soft, creamy center. He has three long-cherished dreams: a produced screenplay, a NYT best-seller, and a seat in the World Series of Poker. In 2016, he returned to the U.S. after living in New Zealand for a year with his family, toting more Middle Earth souvenirs and photos than is reasonable.

Paul Lell

Paul LellPaul Lell was born and grew up in the Denver area, where he was encouraged by friends and family to imagine worlds without limits. He wrote stories and game mastered RPGs for his friends, which led to the development of whole worlds and their inhabitants. After trying a few different careers, he returned to his first love and began writing and publishing science fiction and fantasy novels and role playing games. Paul enjoys fashion/cosplay design, prop making, video games, practicing martial arts/sword fighting, and watching Doctor Who, Once Upon a Time, or Clone Wars with his wife and kids.

Allynn Riggs

Allynn began telling stories before she could write them down. Though she has worked in numerous capacities, including as a parochial school English teacher, youth soccer coach and referee, dance instructor and assistant office manager at a CPA firm, by August of 2012 Allynn decided to surrender to the driving need to fulfill a decades-old promise to publish the stories of some very demanding characters who lovingly reside in her imagination and dreams. Her current science fiction series, The Stone’s Blade, began innocently enough as a short story written when she was fourteen. The characters of Ani, Kela, Taryn, and Renloret never left her imagination, and they waited patiently until she was able to share their worlds with readers. The first two books of the series have garnered multiple awards in science fiction and fantasy in the EVVY Awards. The Blood, Book One received third places in both science fiction and fantasy in 2014. The Balance, Book Two received second place in science fiction in 2017. Allynn is planning to have The Blades, Book Three published at the end of 2018.

When not writing, Allynn is an avid square dancer who, up to six nights a week, actively participates in and teaches others the joy of the dance. She is also a big game hunter who manages to keep the freezer full of meat. The mother of three grown daughters, Allynn lives in Centennial, Colorado, with her husband and dance partner, Bob.
